As part of the 30x30 Challenge I've been getting lots of time outdoors lately.

After hitting the library today, I went and explored a nature trail that I hadn't been on before. It was very secluded - no one in sight but me. I explored the trail without my iPod. Instead of music, I heard all the sounds of nature: the stream, squirrels playing, and birds chirping. It was a really nice day to be out walking around.

  2. Bridges are some of my fave things. Super pics. Isn't it simple marvelous when we really tune into nature. I mean just leave the din of the city and get in-touch with some REAL noise. Many times when I am home, I turn off my tv just to hear the chirping of the birds. We ain't always going to hear them. Cheers!!

    1. I love bridges too. They feel so fantastical somehow.

It is good to remember to listen to the sound of nature from time to time. I know it makes me feel good.
