It's Saturday, but I'm linking up to Big Dude Likes Food's #FoodPornFriday link up, so let's not worry about what day it is and just enjoy the photo, okay? :p
Back in October, I went to Cold Stone Creamery three times. In Canada you can find them in certain Tim Hortons restaurants, and my frequent visits were because of an awesome coupon deal they had going. Buy a regular sized ice cream and pay for the small size. So the amazing looking ice cream in this photo was only $3.36 (and that includes the extra $0.50 I paid to get a waffle bowl).
If you have never been to a Cold Stone or Marble Slab type ice cream place, they have really fresh ice cream and they mix whatever ingredients you want into it. I went to the one in Wasaga Beach and they make the ice cream right in the back. The Wasaga Beach Cold Stone is in a 24 hour Tim Hortons, so if I wanted crazy ice cream at 3:00am, that is totally where I would go.
If memory serves the ice cream pictured is the All Lovin' No Oven flavour, which is Cake Batter ice cream, pieces of cookie dough, whipped topping, and fudge. I got it served in the pink waffle bowl, obviously.

Mmmmm....Cold Stone Creamery!! And, funnily enough, the hubs and I used to live in Collingwood, after we moved out of Toronto. :)
ReplyDeleteWow - I really think Canada is a giant small town. So cool. I'm near Elmvale right now, so I go to Wasaga Beach or Midland for supplies. :)
DeleteI love Cold Stone Creamery! We have one 6 miles away. Which is good. I'm not tempted to visit it as often!!
ReplyDeleteI love it too. They lured me in with a deal and I kept going back for more. Haven't been yet this summer but probably should while it's so hot.
DeleteNo kidding. We got this earlier tonight. Had a coupon for buy one get one. We nibbled a bit but then stashed them in the freezer.
ReplyDeleteChicken on the grill. Just finished my workout. Lovin' it.
Hope your weekend is going well and that you don't have to work. I work most weekends but we got out early-ish today.
Glad you got some time to enjoy the weekend! That is neat that you got ice cream - and awesome that you could stash it in the freezer! I don't know if I have that self control. LOL.
